The Power Principle
By Blaine Lee
I discovered this book in the Newark, NJ airport when it was first published. I was in my early 40s and hungering for some thought leadership to advance my personal and professional growth. I started reading this book and still keep it on my desk today. Stephen’s framework for the Maturity Continuum and the notion of migrating from Dependence to Independence to Interdependence provided me a wonderful roadmap for growth. In particular, Habit #1 (Be Proactive), #2 (Begin with the End in Mind), and #3 (Put First Things First) helped me kick-start my personal development in a tangible way.
I’ve spent a great deal of time with Stephen and his team over the years. If you give yourself over to this work, I guarantee it will be very helpful to you in meaningful ways.
